MANILA The low pressure area (LPA) and the northeast monsoon will bring rain showers in most parts of the country on Thursday.
In its 4 a.m. weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the easterlies is also affecting the eastern section of Luzon.
It said the LPA was last observed at 3 a.m. at 460 kilometers east of Davao City, while the northeast monsoon is affecting extreme northern Luzon.
Visayas, northern Mindanao, the regions of Davao and Caraga will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms caused by the LPA.
Batanes province will have cloudy skies with isolated rains due to the northeast monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have cloudy to partly cloudy skies caused by localized thunderstorms.
Metro Manila's temperature ranges from 24-30 degrees Celsius; Tuguegarao City 23-32 degrees Celsius; Baguio City 15-24 degrees Celsius; Metro Cebu 24-31 degrees Celsius; and Metro Davao 24-31 degrees Celsius. (PNA)
