MANILA -- Cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will prevail over most parts of the archipelago due to localized thunderstorms affecting the whole country, the weather bureau said Sunday.
The southwest monsoon will affect Luzon while an intertropical convergence zone will affect the Davao Region, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its latest weather forecast.
PAGASA added scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected over the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, MIMAROPA (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan), Zambales and Bataan.
It also advised against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Light to moderate winds will blow all over the country while coastal waters along all areas will be slight to moderate.
The minimum temperature for the day is 27.0C while the maximum temperature is at 32.6C, PAGASA said. (PNA)
