MANILA-- Cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms will be experienced over Western Visayas, Ilocos and Mimaropa regions as well as Zambales, Bataan, Cavite, Batangas, Laguna and Quezon provinces, Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 24-hour forecast released Tuesday morning (July 4).
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, PAGASA also said.
Southwest monsoon or 'habagat' is affecting western sections of both Luzon and the Visayas, PAGASA noted.
"Moderate to occasionally strong winds coming from the southwest to south will prevail over western sections of Luzon and of the Visayas and coming from the southeast to south over the eastern section of Luzon," PAGASA continued.
Coastal waters in those areas will be moderate to occasionally rough, noted PAGASA.
"Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the southwest to south with slight to moderate seas," PAGASA added.
