MANILA, Philippines -- While they already recorded their best elimination round finish in franchise history, Meralco remains focused on their one and only target: to make the Finals in the 2016 PBA Commissioner’s Cup.

The Bolts set out to make sure their already successful conference doesn’t go to waste on Monday at the Araneta Coliseum against an Alaska side eyeing their fourth championship round out of the last five.

Game One of their race-to-three series starts at 7:00 PM.

Using what is becoming their trademark team effort, the Bolts have only lost three times in 12 games during the conference. Arinze Onuaku and his Filipino teammates also come into the Final Four the most well-rested after needing only one try to dispatch NLEX.

The Aces didn’t have such luxury after just having survived two must-win games. Winning both of them, however, Calvin Abueva and company have all the confidence in the world as they continue their quest for a long-awaited, much-wanted championship.
