MANILA The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) is expecting aftershocks from the magnitude 5 earthquake that jolted Davao Occidental on Wednesday.
The quake of tectonic origin was recorded 447 km southeast of Sarangani at around 7:17 a.m.
It had a depth of 61 km.
There were reported intensities.
Philvolcs said it is not expecting damages from the earthquake. (PNA)
