MANILA -- The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said aftershocks are possible from the magnitude 5.2 earthquake that jolted Davao Oriental on Saturday night.
The quake of tectonic origin struck 21 km southeast of the municipality of Baganga at 9:02 p.m.
It had a depth of 35 km.
Intensity 3 was felt in Baganga, Manay, and Caraga, while Intensity 2 was reported in Cateel, Bislig City, and Mati City.
Intensity 1 was recorded in Davao City.
Phivolcs, meanwhile, said it is not expecting damages from the magnitude 5.2 quake. (PNA)
