Emirates airline said 226 of the 282 passengers and 18 crew members on the Flight EK521, which crash landed in Dubai, were Indians.
The flight was travelling from Trivandrum International Airport in Thiruvananthapuram, India to Dubai.
"We can confirm that there are no fatalities among our passengers and crew. All passengers and crew are accounted for and safe," the airline said.
There were 24 from the UK; 11 from the UAE; six from the US; 6 from Saudi Arabia; five from Turkey; four from Ireland; two from Australia; two from Brazil; two from Germany; two from Malaysia; two from Thailand; and one each from Croatia; Egypt; Bosnia & Herzegovina; Lebanon; Philippines; South Africa; Switzerland and Tunisia.
The Boeing 777 aircraft, departed at 10.19 am from Trivandrum International Airport and was scheduled to land at 12.50 pm at Dubai International Airport, the airline statement said.
"We are expecting a 8-hour network wide delay, more information will be available on the Emirates website and social media channels," it said.
