Graft court orders raps vs. ex-Bataan guv to proceed

The Sandiganbayan has ruled to continue with the trial of a former Bataan provincial governor facing graft charges.   A resolution dated Nov. 3 written by Associate Justice Edgardo M. Caldona turned down a motion filed by Leonardo B. Marcos ‘doubtful’ of Yolanda death count up to this day

President Ferdinand R. OWWA produces 47 college graduates for 2022 in Caraga

Anti-crime drive in C. Luzon nets 479 persons, P1.6-M drugs

A total of 479 persons were arrested and over PHP1.6 million worth of illegal drugs were seized in a weeklong anti-crime drive in Central Luzon.   In his report on Tuesday, Brig. Gen. Cesar R. 20 Bacolod City officials self-isolate after Covid-19 exposure

Nine city officials and 11 village chiefs here underwent self-isolation after their exposure to Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez who tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) on Monday.   The city officials included Lone District Representative Greg Gasataya as well as Councilors Jude Thaddeus Sayson, Al Victor Espino, Vladimir Gonzales, Jason Villarosa, Claudio Jesus Puentevella, Simplicia Distrito, Celia Flor, and Psyche Marie Sy.   They were among those who joined the trip to Osaka, Japan, from Nov. 4 to 7, sponsored by Benitez for his party mates, among them incumbent and former city officials, several barangay officials, and their families.
