Magnitude 5.4 quake hits Cagayan province

A magnitude 5.4 struck Cagayan province on Sunday afternoon but no major damage has been reported yet. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) bulletin issued 2:01 p.m. said the tectonic quake’s epicenter was 8 kilometers southwest of Dalupiri Island. The earthquake struck at 12:36 p.m., and was 15 kilometers deep. 3 new coronavirus cases reported at Beijing Games

Three new coronavirus cases were detected among Beijing Games-related personnel, the Winter Olympics Organizing Committee said Sunday. Two cases were found Saturday in new airport arrivals and one was in the closed-loop, the Committee said in a statement. All personnel are in a closed-loop, separated from the public. One of the new arrivals was classified as either an athlete or team official, and the other was one of the other stakeholders. The Committee did not provide further details on identities.
