Negros Oriental has a new acting provincial police director in the person of Col. Germano P. Mallari, who is the third to be assigned in the province this year. Mallari replaced Col. Glenn Mayam, the officer-in-charge (OIC) provincial police director for about four months, said Chief Master Sgt. 83 areas in Metro Manila remain under granular lockdown

Some 83 areas in Metro Manila remain under granular lockdown despite the region’s shift to the more relaxed Alert Level 3 over the weekend. Based on the latest data released on Monday, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said these include 29 areas under the Quezon City Police District; Manila Police District, 25; Eastern Police District, 17; Southern Police District, 10 and Northern Police District, two. T-bill rates move sideways after BSP statement

The Treasury bill (T-bill) rates were little changed on Monday following Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Benjamin Diokno’s statement on the timing of policy rate adjustment. The average rate of the 91-day debt paper moved to 1.113 percent, the 182-day to 1.390 percent, and the 364-day to 1.604 percent. These were at 1.095 percent, 1.391 percent, and 1.587 percent for the three and six-month, and one-year papers during the auction last October 11.
