Taguig’s TRACE app now includes Covid-19 test appointment

The Taguig City government on Monday said it has made coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) testing available on the city’s contact tracing app.

In a statement, Mayor Lino Cayetano said residents can now secure an appointment for Covid-19 testing at the Taguig Registry for Assessment and Citizen Engagements (TRACE) app, as part of the city government’s efforts to improve health and social services amid the pandemic.

He added that residents can also schedule their Covid-19 vaccination appointment through the TRACE app.

The city offers free testing on the following sites:

– 31 health centers;

– 2 Drive-thru testing sites in Lakeshore and Bonifacio Global City;

– Park N’ Test in Vista Mall Parking Building;

– Taguig Mega Swabbing Facility in CP Tinga Elementary School;

– Mobile testing trucks

Cayetano earlier said the city is continuously improving its pandemic response efforts.

“We always make it a point to find ways to improve our services. Taguig is very keen on adapting to the new technology and making use of this in our programs. In Taguig, we make sure that our services can be accessed by all Taguigeños from different walks of life,” he added.

Taguig remains as one of the leading cities that conducted the most number of tests in the National Capital Region.

As of Oct. 30, the city has administered a total of 221,347 reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction tests, representing 22.42 percent of its population.
