MANILA-- The country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies, isolated light to occasionally heavy rains, gusty winds, and lightning on Thursday, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
In its latest advisory, PAGASA said the ridge of a high pressure area (HPA) is affecting Luzon and Visayas.
Meanwhile, moderate to occasionally strong winds will blow from southwest over extreme northern Luzon, and its coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.
Metro Manila will experience isolated light to moderate rains and possible heavy rains, lightning and gusty winds due to thunderstorms.
Light to moderate winds will blow from south to southwest over the rest of Luzon and Visayas, and from south over Mindanao with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.
