DepEd-NCR suspends classes from Jan. 15 to 22

The Department of Education (DepEd) – National Capital Region (NCR) on Friday suspended classes for public schools from January 15 to 22, due to the rise in coronavirus infections in the region. BOC earns P113-M add’l revenues in 2021 thru X-ray project

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has collected more than PHP113 million in additional revenues last year through its X-ray Inspection Project (XIP). Citing the latest data on Friday, the agency said it has collected a total of PHP113,721,158.80 in duties and taxes from January to December last year, higher by 13 percent from 2020’s collection of PHP100,604,244.73. DSWD drafting intervention programs for child marriage victims

Victims of arranged child marriages and their children will be included in the intervention programs under Republic Act 11596 or An Act Prohibiting the Practice of Child Marriage, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) said on Friday. Antique’s upland farmers start planting high-value crops

High-value crops (HVC) have been planted in seven greenhouses in Barangay Aningalan, in the municipality of San Remigio this province.
